Our newest exhibit Islamic Art in Context is a reflection of diasporic contemporary art in the context of North American experiences.

of ancient traditions with a constantly changing volatile present now lived in a new
The cross-cultural effect is evident and deliberate, revealing that human dignity
cannot be waived or diminished.
The artists featured are Behnaz Sohrabian, Moh'd Bilbeisi, Maryamsadat Amirvaghefi,
D'zart and the Texas Muslim Artists (Saima Khan, Najmus Saqib Hassan, Kaneez Zohra
Saddiqi, Arif Imam, Tasleem Mirza).
Our main doors will be open Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and
until 9:00 p.m. on selected Faulkner events days.
This exhibit is free to the public.
An Artist reception will be held to honor those showcasing their work during this
exhibition. The reception is scheduled on
Friday, April 19, 2019 at 6:00p.m.
